Grew up in a tiny town on a big lake in Wisconsin; spend my teens and early adult life kicking around the small dusty prairie towns in Kansas. My day job (sci research/publishing) landed me in a kooky, hippie university town in the middle of tornado alley. Got married, bought a house, had a kid, settled in. Then got a job offer back in my home state, so off we went to Mad-town and added another kiddo to the family. We were lucky to be near Chicago and a plethora of other fun places to explore, so we've spend the decade running amok.

Recently, we had the opportunity to both work remote jobs in our careers, so made the jump and the choice to move to our "retirement town" earlier than expected - a sweet little city tucked into the hillside of the Sawtooth range, right on the shore of Lake Superior. As our kids have aged, my photo work took a turn towards our area so more street/urban work; this new change of scenery will likely lead to another era of what I shoot, we'll see what it brings!
