I met Nelma during one of my first trips on Flickr. It was just like discovering a new World, the sixth Continent, Flora's Reign. The goddess walks between Nelma's perfect floral pictures; she takes your hand and brings you near petals with the same colors of butterflies, near pistils that are strong like trees. You come to the edge of pink lakes of gerberas, close to orange mountains of tulips. You really would like... to be a bee, to smell Nelma's masterpieces more than just watching them. Light shines among petals, but it doesn't hurt your eyes, on the other side it makes you dream a better World. What a luck meeting Nelma here, what a luck she gives me her friendship together with her talent.

Read lessI could spend hours looking through Nelma's photostream. Check out such beauties as the Rose in Glass, or the Winter Rose 2 (which glows golden right off the screen). And it is not just the flowers. There is the creativity that shows in such photos as, Decipere. Truly, she is an artiste!

Just came back from an extensive stroll through nelmaf's photo stream. The way she captures light and flowers is rather unique. Some of her pictures look like the flower itself is the light source rather than light just shining on them. Her macros are one of a kind also, very crisp, clear and always showing either an interesting pattern or a very pleasing combination of colors. Sometimes the flowers even seem to be on fire. She's a great artist with seemingly endless imagination.
