Nell Chitty grew up in rural Niagara to an artistic family regularly involved in contemporary art, dance and theatre. Nell was an avid creative writer as a child and began her passion with photography at a young age. Later, she was introduced to graphic design and typography when she moved to Toronto to study Fashion.

After working in the Montreal fashion industry within sales and marketing, Nell returned to Toronto to pursue her Masters of Design in Inclusive Design. Nell now works in the field of accessibility, working within policy, media, and graphic design.
