These photographs are from glass negatives taken by Nell Lewin prior to her marriage in 1913. Ellen Lewin, or Nell as she was better known, married Ernest McBean. So Nell Lewin was also Ellen McBean and Nell McBean.

As Nell features in some of the photographs, there obviously was more than one photographer.
