I've graduated to my first DSLR, a Nikon D40 my wife got me for Christmas. So far I am having fun and frustrated at the same time. I have a lot to learn and would like someday to transition into being a semi-pro but that's a long way off.

My gear so far: Nikon D40 w/ kit 18-55 lens, Gorilla pod, regular tripod, Hoya UV and circular polarizing filters, Cactus V4 wireless trigger set, Sunpak 433d flash, IR wireless remote for camera, and newest addition is Hoya R72 Infrared Filter.
