Nice to see you here.

"Look, the thing about my family is there's five of us. Marge, Bart, Girl Bart, the one who doesn't talk, and the fat guy." (HS)

In fact, it's just the two of us, living on the Flickr since Apr/05. Usually one is more behind the camera, and the other always turns better on the photographs. One works as an architect and the other is a grad student who's insanely in love with sociology of food (and cooking).

"Remember as far as anyone knows, we're a nice normal family." (HS)

As much as we like to show what we've captured, we enjoy browsing some of your streams even more. Amazing what can be found here.

If you find yourself being added to our contact list, that means that we like what you've posted here.

Also feel free to add us to your contacts, as we are making progress and might just one day become interesting.

Just recently we got a decent camera and will likely be posting more technically demanding photographs, even though neither of us finds technically great photographs to be necessarily the best ones ... we don't mind blurry or photshoped images, we like spontaneity, shot from everyday life, we are far more into ideas and originality.

Cheers.

UPDATE: as from Jan-1-2006 we became Pro (unfortunately, only with the account)

although their subject scope is wide, i consider svele|nebo most of all as photographers of the city. they portray vancouver in a beautiful, evocative way - from the chaos of the downtown traffic to the serenity of its yacht marinas - whichever aspect, the creation is always recognisably their own. i think that the most challenging, and by far the most difficult feature of masterful photography is the artist's ability, sense, instinct to catch and transport the Atmosphere - that certain something which is impossible to define in manuals, impossible to learn. so sit back and watch: each new shot in this photostream is the confirmation of a talent developing, of art becoming deeper and more complex. it is a wonderful journey you've taken me on. keep dreaming.
