About Retina Charmer

Retina Charmer is a brainchild of Navin Kumar, which became operational in July 2011 to change the stereotypical image of Indian Wedding Photography and challenge its conventional notions. The inspiration came to him in March 2011 when he encountered the way; the traditional wedding photographers get dealt, in one of his family friend’s weddings. Thus, Navin also joined the league of distinguished Wedding Photojournalists to bring out the best of Wedding Photography.

About Navin Kumar

A Travel savvy, English literature graduate, “Navin” is an independent travel and documentary photographer of Indian origin. Based out of New Delhi, he considers this world as his studio, where he loves shooting the landscapes of the dying planet. He loves being behind the camera to capture the emotions of the inhabitants of the planet and its fragility. When he is not traveling, he dedicates himself and his time, shooting the nuptial knots of the Weddings, in his distinctive style.

His photographs have always made their way to the hearts of his clients, photo lovers, and enthusiasts worldwide and have been displayed on many platforms. At the age of 19, he did his first exhibition with professional Russian photographers at the RUSSIAN CENTER OF SCIENCE & CULTURE, New Delhi, and was recognized as the youngest photographer among professionals, and since then he has done 4 photo Exhibitions and hasn’t looked back.

Currently, he is dedicating most of his time and energy to Contemporary Wedding Photography and is also working on long-term projects, “THE CELESTIAL EARTH” and “THE BEAUTY OF GANGA” in Southern Asia and has been photographing the changes; the region has undergone due to the change in climatic conditions of the Earth and has also been capturing the beauty of this area to create awareness among the masses towards their very own Planet.
