I am a southern lady, Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, friend, who loves life, God, family, grandchildren, fried chicken, bar-b-que, hunting, fishing, sunrises and sunsets............you get the picture. I grow flowers, trees and shrubs for a living and enjoy the massive color, shapes and textures that living plants have. I also have 3 cats and 3 dogs that I love photographing.
Since joining Flickr I have met some really nice people from all over the world. This is a great community for anyone who just enjoys photography, but there are back stories going on that are amazing! For instance, in addition to picture groups there are several prayer groups on Flickr! In these groups there are Christians from all over the world praying together for each others concerns and needs. What a blessing. God can manage to find a way to use people no matter where they are. If you would like to be a member of a prayer group just Flickr mail me and I'll be honored to set you up ;o).
I was once a alcoholic/addict and I am now a Sunday School teacher so I know what God can do in a persons life. My life did a total 360 once I put the alcohol and drugs down and let the Lord in. He is truly my Saviour and I let Him direct my life these days and life is good! Yes indeed!
Free photo editing software! The G.I.M.P. is an open source free photo editing software that is available for windows and Mac users. You must have the GTK+2 runtime environment installed for it to run properly. You can find them here www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tg=dl-20&qt=gimp&am...
It is a photoshop alternative that is so good I wonder why any one would pay for the other software. It has a help manual you can also download.
If you think G.I.M.P. is too hard try Paint.Net. This program is for windows users only no macs. It is found at www.getpaint.net/index2.html and is similar to microsoft paint but with lots of filters and enhancements that microsoft paint doesn't have. The learning curve of this one is simpler than G.I.M.P. but doesn't have as many options. Try one or both! After all they're FREE!

Next is a great tool (scripts) to make Flickr have way more capabilities like auto remarks, better contact management, more photo info, pics interestingness and too many more to list. You must use the Firefox/Mozilla browser for these GreaseMonkey scripts to work and they do and they are wonderful. Since installing them Flickr is way more fun. These are listed below.
1-Do you comment in groups that require you to comment on a certain number or give awards? Then this is a time saving script for you.
