I am a 66 year-old woman, married to a United Methodist minister for 38 years. We have one daughter. and an adorable cat, Hannabelle. I love sacred and classical music.I play the organ and the piano and I sing some. I love Christmas and Christmas music, and I am an avid collector of several things. I love photography, particularly nature, and raise Swallowtail Butterflies in the summer time . . .
We moved to another beautiful part of the state of Georgia, about 90 miles northeast of Atlanta, following my husband's retirement at the end of the church Conference year in June of last year. This is the first "home" of our own after 37 years of living in Church Parsonages.
I am finding this to be a fabulous place both to live and take pictures. Our home is on a mountain on the edge of the Chattahoochee National Forest and the deciduous trees are absolutely gorgeous, with lots of "wildlife" around. I can't wait to explore more thoroughly.
One of my favorite Georgia State Parks (Tallulah Gorge) is less than half an hour away, and we are just about 90 minutes from Cherokee NC and the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway! Heaven on Earth -
I'm enjoying being retired, but I don't want anyone to think that means I won't be busy doing the things I love to do!!! We plan to spend some tie just loving it. I'm about to get my first Passport!!!! Watch out Canada!!!
