Ever since I was a child I was fascinated by wildlife. I have been to many of the major cities throughout the United States but I find that they do not move me like nature does. So, the last few years I have made journeys to some of the best wildlife hotspots that I could afford. (Antarctica is unfortunately too expensive.) My favorites are Yellowstone, the Serengeti Eco-system, and Bandhavgarh (India). I will only post photos of wildlife (all photos are of wild animals except one tortoise photo at the Darwin Research Station in the Galapagos Islands) and some landscape. I am not posting photos of people to protect the innocent who would much rather not be posted on the internet. Since I am an amateur photographer (and less than amateur in PhotoShop) with a limited supply of lenses (not to mention money) some of the photos are not great but they are significant enough for me to want to share the experience. I want to thank my wife, Vickie, for not divorcing me over this obsession of mine. Thanks for putting up with me Sweetheart. And to my sons, Ian and Spencer, I hope that you get the opportunity to see all of the beauty that this world holds.
