I am a Field Biologist with the North Carolina Natural Heritage Program. My main focus is Herpetology, and I spent a lot of my time pursing Reptiles and Amphibians throughout the Carolina's. In addition, I regularly travel within and outside of the United States. And I prefer to live out of my car and sleep in a hammock than my apartment in Raleigh.

I enjoy road trips, camping, and wildlife photography. Oh, and cold beer!

Please do not share or otherwise use my photographs without permission. All requests to use my photographs for free will be denied (except for some educational purposes, please ask). A great deal of time and money is used in my pursuit of these animals and camera gear is not cheap. For commercial purposes, my usage fees are often minimal but cost depends on usage agreement (feel free to contact me).

Testimonials

Nathan is the man. But if you plan on taking a trip with him, set things up to depart at least an hour before you really want to...because he's going to be late.
