I spent 5 1/2 years in the Marine Corps. I've since been finding peace in photography for the last year and a half. I am self taught, and strive to improve my photography skills. Please critique my images. Tell me what you like or what I could do better. Once I settle down back home in Austin, I plan on starting events for veterans looking to take up photography. I want to learn boudior, maternity, landscape, high key/ low key, engagement, wedding, IR, time lapse, risqué, fashion, kid and child, astro, birth, macro, underwater, portraits and same sex portraits. The only type of photography I'm not really interested in is sports, candid, and behind the scene ( if that is even considered as a legitimate subject) I feel these types of photography are nothing more than point and shoot or or not interesting enough to be called photography. Painting with light should be just that, not 30 photags on a sideline getting the same shot.
