My kids and wife are good to put up with the frequent camera in there face and the lack of privacy. My family is my main focus in life and in my photography. I also have a love for the outdoors nature and macro photography, especially the shots that make you stop and look closer at the amazing world that surrounds us.

My secret passion is flying rc airplanes.

My first DSLR was a Sony a100 I found it at a closeout discount and picked up some great old minolta glass such as the 70-210 f4 "beercan" ( I miss that lens).

I loved the camera and lenses but my video camera died and I was intrigued by the idea of having video on a dslr so I purchased the d90 when it first came out. I have since moved on to a d7000.
