The main goal of my photography is to increase empathy and admiration for bugs, plants, and other ignored and often maligned forms of life. I have a Ph.D. in plant & insect ecology and am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Central Florida. I am also the host of Naturistic Series (naturistic.science) and co-founder of Lawn to Wildflowers (lawntowildflowers.org/)
