Testimonials

Her unique compositions are epiphanic realizations of beauty in life. I come back to learn and admire.

... you know where it's at, don't you? ... maybe you don't ... Nashalinaland ... a mystical, magical, mythical place ... a place where dwell the marginal kings and makeshift queens and other royal personages and regal beasts, the high brought low, the low raised to new heights, the castaways, outcasts, lost and downtrodden, you know the ones, the wanderers, hobos, rogues, vagrants, drifters, no-accounts, ne'er-do-wells, starry-eyed vagabonds, miscreants, transients, rejects, factory seconds, dreamers, alchemists ... misfits all who've found a place where they all fit in, yes, that’s right, Nashalinaland, where they matter, where they gain importance and make a difference ... cloaked in smokey nobility, pixie lovers strewn all around, embraced by burning oaks and dancing fairies and cloudy clowns and dreaming pools of moon-lit flowers and chains of vacant streets , all imbued with newfound royalty on fleeting thrones of light and darkness ... all viewed through Nasha’s wide-eyed lens.

Cindy is brilliant and deserving of her fame, no doubt, but she has to do make up, hair styling and costume design before each shot and also she is a great location scout. Nasha on the other hand, can just point the camera at herself and come up with a thousand different faces and personalities, naturally! Different approaches, with equally impressive results...

Nasha is a poet by nature, she's writing poems for the beauty of life using her camera instead of a pen. Every time I travel through her photos, I get the same feeling of elevation and joy. Thank you Nasha, the less I can say....

nasha's stream is quite delicate and passionate. art that flows as, both, gently and fiercely as water. beautiful, inspirational and always enjoyable. definitely a favorite on flickr!
