NASA Global Astro is based at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. We highlight the unique collaboration that has occurred (and is still underway) between NASA and the Japanese space agency, JAXA, on three satellites to observe X-rays from space. The photos here are from Goddard and JAXA showing part of the process of getting detectors on a spacecraft. Other images are NASA simulations and real science results.
