I'm 32, married to Afroswede. We had our first baby on 1.15.05, a little girl named Sarah Katherine (called Kat) and our second child on 07.09.06, a little boy named Matthew. I love to read, write, sing, act, ride horses, watch movies, watch anime, learn to play the trumpet, quilt, take photographs (obviously), and bother my husband.

We currently have four cats as our 20 year old cat, Summer, passed away in July. Piper is our black and white male domestic longhair cat. Aiko is our female calico Japanese bobtail. They're both extremely sweet and social. They will love you if you pet them. Tabitha is our only outdoor cat. She came with three kittens whom we were able to place, but were unable to place her. So, we care for her. Buster is our youngest, a marbled orange tabby, and is certainly a little bundle of energy. He likes to attack ankles.

I'm short, fat, wear glasses, and have brown hair that comes past my waist. I'm a Christian. I'm a former music major and attended University of North Texas. One thing I'd love to do is to be a voice in a Disney or Dreamworks animated feature; preferably a musical, though those seem to have fallen out of favour (let's hope the Princess and the Frog change that!). Feel free to chat, I love meeting new people.

Do you want to use one of my photos for something? Just ask me. I might just actually let you.

Testimonials

Aiko's photos are like good old down home Texas Chile! Fun, spicy, and drenched with true life grit. Sit a spell and look over images that will make you laugh, sigh, and generally smile (a lot!).

I especially adore (and envy!) Amanda's flora and fauna photography. She captures her subjects with care and clarity that makes the stuff of great reference material for artists like myself.

How do you write a testimonial for your wife? She does have a thing for taking nice animal pics. She likes animals... Maybe a little too much. Excuse me, the cat needs killing...

Well, she's all you'd ever want. She's the kind they'd like to flaunt and take to dinner. Well, she always knows her place. She's got style, she's got grace, she's a winner. She's a lady. Whoa, whoa, whoa, she's a lady. Or something like that.

Of all the people I know in Texas, she's certainly one of them. She takes good pictures, she sings, she married Kurt. What else do you need to know?
