I love life. I love to capture life as it happens, while it's happening, and sometimes when it has stopped.

I love to capture all of life's blessings through the lens of my camera. I love the perspective, and the anticipation that comes when I'm shooting a session, and thinking "I can't wait to see these shots!" When doing my post editing phase, I love to play with different effects, and watch with wonder, the beauty that comes out in each shot. The most joyful part though, is to see the joy on my client's faces when they see their newborn child, toddler, senior, bride/groom, whatever the subject matter is, captured in a moment that was truly a blessing.

I have years of experience using a camera, in my late twenties I got my first SLR camera at a garage sale. In 2007, I received a DSLR as a gift from my husband. The cost of developing film was starting to rise at this point, so for me, going digital was a "no brainer". I mostly shot nature photography when I first got my DSLR, then I started being asked to do portraits, weddings, etc., In 2010 I started my own photography business, Blessed Moment Photo, as a side business. I presently work full-time for the Delaware National Guard.

I greatly welcome, and would appreciate feedback on any of my photos, as this is another avenue of learning for me.

My philosophy is that to learn from experience and others through networking is the best way to learn, and garner lasting friendships at the same time.
