Recently, I laboured hard over choices for an SLR digital, Nikon..Canon....???? Chose the PENTAX K5 because of its water resistant base and lens....as I live on a yacht in the tropics, and constantly worried about humidity, and the salty air. LOVE IT. All previous pics were on a PAnasonic FZ 50 compact, which was an amazing camera for that stage of my life. Still love it.

However, extending my passion and attempting to push the limits, > Appreciate all feedback. :) You will never guess what happened!!!! My kit, Pentax K5 and 3 lens were stolen from my house ...while I was sleeping !! I am gutted, but was able to afford a Panasonic FZ200, ...until I can afford another DSLR...so my images are really trying hard with what I have got...
