I am Aida Ràfols and was born in 1989 in Vilafranca del Penedès. I have studied Fashion Design in Barcelona and I lived there for a few years. While I was studiyng and working there I have learnt a lot and became an adult.

In my discipline thinking that all is possible, will open your mind. If you can imagine it, you can do it.

I am good at handmaking, handsewing, knitting, crochet, weaving with a loom, and I have used a sewing machine, I enjoy making mixes of canvas, handmade works, applications and experimenting with materials that you can find on your way. I like to create and invent a lot, and enjoy what I am doing. For example, althought I don’t know a lot about hatmaking I have made some for my FP, all created by my own with enthusiasm, imagination and creativity.

My hobbies inspire my creativity, one of my hobbies is to walk around the city downtown looking for beautiful places, secret squares, amazing antiquity shops. Also I like to take pictures with my analogic camera, and to experiment with it. I also collect tin robots, birds, and other kinds of tin toys.

I love travelling and think it is a very good thing for our knowledge, it makes you grow up and widens your horizon.

I think all of these hobbies are directly releated to creativity. All are important, you never know where you can find your inspiration, it’s probably everywhere.

I like to listen to people, sometimes more than speak. I’m a very good observer, and curious.

At first I am a bit shy, but when I am confident, I am very sociable, and a good team worker, willing to learn a lot in my new job.

I am responsable, peaceful and I trie to solve the problems the best way I can. In fact I think that there aren’t any problems, only solutions. I am a positive person, full of energy and prepared for everything
