Naeem is an old friend from the university days. He is the one who has persuaded me to try out photography as a hobby, and I am grateful to him for that. He has brought out the beauty of Pakistan like never seen before, even by a person like myself who has lived there throughout his life. He is a big inspiration in photography and other activities, as he is the kind of person who likes to delve deep into any activity he pursues. Naeem's skills as a photographer have been improving all along. His recent series depicting autumn in Lahore is simply out of this world. Keep up the great work Naeem and keep guiding us along :)

Naeem Rashid was one of my first flickr contacts and still my favorite. I'm always excited when he adds new photos to his stream because it means I can continue my vicarious journey to Lahore, a truly beautiful city. Naeem is very passionate about his city and you can see this in every photograph. I've felt everything from the excitement of a busy street vendor to the warmth of a sunset over a beautiful mosque. If you have time, you owe it to yourself to view Naeem's photostream. Rarely is so foreign a place (for an American) brought so vividly to life.

I would like to offer Naeem Rashid an unqualified tribute for the sensitive images about his native land and more that he has shared with us here. Although Naeem considers himself a dedicated hobbyist I would suggest that he is really an exquisite story teller who uses his eye and his camera to let us take a glimpse into a world of people and places that we may not know but which through his lense become familiar. His flickr site was the first I looked at, accidentally, and I hope he will share many more images with us. Having spent some time in Lahore and having been fond of the place for a long time I am keen to visit again soon.
