I've known Bob for a couple of years as a result of following each other on flickr, we both reside in metro Atlanta, and we both are members of the Southeastern Photographic Society. Bob is an enthusiast photographer with a keen interest in cityscapes, architecture, and transit systems. His flickr portfolio speaks for itself of his heightened interest in the aforementioned photographic genres. However, having traveled with him recently I got a first hand glimpse of his enthusiasm. His passion for "getting the shot" sometimes bordered obsession, but in a good way. His passion for photography, his pursuit of his chosen genres, and his artistic and documentary images, are an inspiration to me, and others here on flickr, and it is an honor to have him as a colleague, and a pleasure to have him as a friend. I anticipate his upcoming photographic ventures and how he documents his travels and shares his artistic rendering of same.
