I live in the bushy outskirts of Sydney - East Kurrajong - Australia.

My first camera was a brownie and then a Yashica. I got so keen.... with my father that we set up a B&W processing dark room. I spent many late hours sitting exposing and developing shots. I dont have much to remind me of this time (im pretty old now).

My Dad was my inspiration ... and when he passed I inherited his film Canon EOS and became the family event shooter... mainly because the Auto settings were guaranteed for reasonable shots.

Couple of years ago i upgraded to Canon 30D and it changed my life.

Now I am experimenting with old lenses on the 30D such as Pentax and Carl Zeiss Lenses, and having a ball with them. Everyday I learn something new.

My Bird photos are mostly taken at my place in outer Sydney NSW, Australia. . My buddy icon is Flowers of the Casaurina... food for the birds.
