In the late seventies I started photography with my dad's old camera from the 1950's. He told me always to use aperture F8 or F11 so that I would have neat pictures. Obviously he did not know much about making photos. Not that I know that much more today, but still...
When I was about 19 I bought my first analog camera (Pentax with a 50 mm lens). In 1984 I went to Taiwan to study and before returning home I bought a telelens in hong kong, where it was much cheaper than in Belgium. after that I mainly took photographs whilst traveling.
now I'm more into nature photography.
I switched to canon when I bought my first digital camera in 2004. this was an eos 20d with kit lens.
In 2009 i upgraded to canon eos 5D mark I.
In 2018 the EOS 5D was exchanged for an eos 6D mark II.
IN 2022 I purchased an eos 6R.
I use the following lenses:
