Photography is my passion; I am lucky to live in a part of the world that presents glorious opportunities for captures every single day.

I started out in 2006 with a Canon S2 IS, which served me very well as a first camera; the next year, Santa brought me a Canon Rebel XT, and then a Canon 40D. Though I know it's the photographer, not the equipment, I'm working hard to master my tools.

I'm devoted to flickr. It's one of the best places I know of on the web, and has such great and generous folks who all share a love of photography. I've learned so much from you all, and hope I've given back a little.

If you have a generic icon, no profile and no pictures available to me and you fave one of my pictures without commenting, I'm sorry, I will block you. Faving without commenting is a big no-no, in my book, and taking people's pictures without giving them credit goes against the spirit of flickr.
