Primarily these are travel photos from 2007. But along the way I'm also attempting to document in some sort of consistent way things that mean a lot to me - things Jewish in Romania and in Germany; cemeteries, synagogues, and homes.

Just to be completely self-indulgent, I plan to tell a few stories of issues that matter (to me at least). For instance, in the line of fire is the planned re-development of the the Freiburg Synagoge Platz, and for something totally different, the dissolution of the engineering library at the University of Melbourne. And, of course, museums and musical instruments.
