I am a Global Nomad (or "ATCK", Adult third culture kid …) of Dutch nationality. My inspiration and influences come from the connections I’ve made with different cultures, people, religions and countries.

I started taking digital photos in late 2005. I love how it helps me to see the beauty of the world and to concentrate on the here and now. Learning how to use my camera and image editing software has been (and still is) a fascinating journey. Photography has provided another outlet for my creative nature and continues to provide balance between the scientific/logical and artistic/spiritual sides of me. Taking pictures of nature in particular is my main subject. I also love taking close-up images of anything that captures my interest.
