myQSL.org is the world's largest collection of CB radio QSL cards from the 1970s. QSL cards are postcards that were used to confirm contacts between radio operators. They originated with amateur (ham) radio operators in the early 20th century. When the CB radio craze emerged in the 1970s, it became a creative and freeform hobby of its own. Tens of thousands of people participated and millions of cards were printed and exchanged. Some designed their own cards, while others hired professional artists who created series. Think of them as an analog form of social media for their time.
