My name is Mia, for google purposes, and I am kind of used to being called it because of World of Warcraft =) I was recently diagnosed with Lyme Disease by a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor a couple weeks ago. I have been a neuro-Lymie for 1-2 months (I think lol). I believe I got Lyme Disease in 2008 because of a spotted rash I thought was weird, but I didn't do anything about it. I have had a few weird things happen in the last 2 years, and then 4 or 5 months ago, my body went crazy. Around 2 months ago, my neurological system went crazy. I am a blessed Lymie because I am a computer nerd. Yeah, a computer nerd getting Lyme sounds silly, but if you walk in the grass ANYWHERE in America, you can get it too. I found out I need to be tested for Lyme by researching on my own. Trust me, it's not easy. Lyme is FUCKED. Fucked in your body and fucked in America, yet larger than the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
