I am an enthusiastic bird watcher and photographer with just a Canon bridge camera. I am enjoying how to improve my photography to my own satisfaction . I am also attending classes for nature art, landscapes with light and depicting birds.

I love many aspects of Nature such as trees, flowers, clouds, light, mosses, lichen and fungi, wildlife, insects, water reflections and geology.

As an avid bird watcher and listener, I observe the comings and goings of species within my valley, the changing and passing of bird generations, and the different "dialects" of bird calls across regions. I observe bird behaviour re their grouping, feeding, courting, mating, defending, adapting, ways of flying and landing and their occasional antics.

As such I have become aware of the competition, hardships and resilience of their survival techniques against other birds, predators and vagaries of the weather.

Above all, I love their FREEDOM!
