Whitworth’s wife would tell you that, of all his hobbies, photography is her favorite. Kevin’s love of capturing images has decorated their home and enriched their travels. While Kevin enjoys photographing anything interesting, he is most often drawn to cityscapes and landscapes. That keeps him traveling North America, happily photographing every coastline, mountain, and skyscraper in sight.

As a young boy visiting his grandfather, Kevin learned to love photography. For many years, faster-paced activities kept him busy, but he returned to photography a few years ago and quickly immersed himself in every aspect of this art form, from composing to printing and framing. Kevin particularly enjoys blending his “old school” film camera knowledge with the latest in digital possibilities; he is constantly learning and perfecting new techniques.

While a brilliant capture is reward enough, Kevin has found great satisfaction in sharing his images with others and he is certain his life and photo skills are richer because of the friendships he has formed with photographers from around the globe.

When not planning his next photo adventure, Kevin works as the operations manager for a small, Midwestern R&D firm that works with global clients, including Bill Gates. He is also a superb husband and a stellar father.
