I create cute little pom pom animal whimsies. I love creating bunnies, mice, squirrels, lambs, birds out of wool yarn. I also love to create unique cake toppers for weddings, baby showers, and anniversaries. I meticulously hand sculpt and shape the pom poms from wool yarn, wool felt with wool roving. Each piece is unique and has its own "personality". Since they are made by hand, no two are ever alike. I am half Japanese and grew up on a small little farm in the country in Delaware. My family in Japan would send the most cutest Japanese toys and dolls which had an influence on me. My father a fter he retired from the Navy bought a farm and one of the things he loved to do was to go to weekly auctions. My eclectic upbringing reflects my love of vintage and cute. Because of my love for vintage, I try to incorporate it as much as I can into my work. I also use eco friendly materials such as wool yarn and wool felt which is sustainable. I am a mom to four beautiful children. My oldest is now 21 and my youngest is 12. They keep me pretty busy when I'm not crafting away.
