Bernat is the Master of Industrial and Urban Grit. He can make abandonments look inviting. But his most impressive currency is rapier wit and hilarity. His comments are some of the funniest content you'll find on the web or anywhere else. No kiddin'! Bernat rules!

One of things I like most about photoblogging and flickr is the man-in-the-street view you get of the world every day. Unfortunately, we in the USA seem to dominate that view so it is refreshing to see someone else, somewhere else reporting what they see to. One of things I like most about photoblogging and flickr is the man-in-the-street view you get of the world every day. Unfortunately, we in the USA seem to dominate that view so it is refreshing to see someone else, somewhere else reporting what they see to. I know very little about Hungary and Budapest but I feel I get to know a little more about it's streets every time Bernát posts another picture. I love to see the similarities and differences between how and where we live. Bernát has a great eye to document his environment and a generous flickr spirit to share that with us.

I mean come on people, if you can't find amusement in the small things...well your lost! I was intrigued the first time Bernat commented on a photo of mine. It's not everyday that someone living in Budapest favs one of my photos of a derelict American automobile...then I checked out his photostream and I knew immediately that I had found a kindred spirit, someone who also saw the beauty in rusty abandoned industrial "stuff" no matter what it was. He claims to have only been doing this a year, well my friend you have the talent and the eye that will carry you far in life.

In the short time I've known Bernat here on Flickr, he has continually amazed me. His photostream is small but brilliant. He has an eye for color and atmosphere in places many would find unlikely.
