I am a board member of the Alaska Native Plant Society (AKNPS), and have worked previously as a program botanist for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Grants Pass, Oregon, as well as a number of other federal and university positions in California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska. While my present work with the Alaska Department of Natural Resources is outside the scope of my degrees in botany and biology, I still do a little bit of everything with AKNPS and my own garden, and continue to photograph actively to keep my ID skills sharp. Most of my photos are taken at various points around Alaska, but older sets include images from other States.
