Cacties western wear is for that man whose heart is in the iconic American West, wherever his feet may be planted. The brainchild of investment banker Jimmy Griscom and men’s clothier Mike “Moose” Mahaffey, Cacties was conceived one night over dinner in a steakhouse – the modern equivalent of a campfire.

As the two friends chewed the fat over steaks and a bottle of red, a spark of inspiration caught fire and the Cacties concept emerged. Beginning with a line of Western-themed neckwear, Cacties was created to design and manufacture straightforward, Western lifestyle products for that person who identifies with the values and heritage of the old West.

Jimmy hitched his horses to Moose’s wagon, and the team took off in dogged pursuit of their dream. Today, Cacties fills a wide open niche as an outfitter of premium Western apparel.

Cacties is a year young, but its heritage is as old and as big as the Western skies.
