I'm a software developer from Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA). While I'm fortunate in that computers can be both a hobby and a profession, my main artistic interests are music and photography.

I've been a musician all my life — at the very least since I could pick up my father's trumpets and make noise — but photography is a relatively recent hobby of mine. But ever since I realized how much I enjoy it I've been trying to learn as much as possible.

I maintain a photoblog (www.mwyman.com) which I provide with right of first-post for my photos (it's followed mostly by friends and relatives, and I think they deserve the opportunity to view the photos first). The big challenge for me with this arrangement is that I often queue up some great photos there I'd like to share with the larger crowd here — but such is life, I guess.

I look forward to hearing people's opinions on my photos, and learning how I can improve!
