Photography has been a passion of mine for over 45 years and I look forward to making photos for the next 45. For the most part I am self-taught relying heavily on observing the work of others and learning through trial and error (emphasis on the error part).

Although I now call Spring, Texas, USA home I enjoy traveling as much as I can to photograph both in the US and internationally. Photography has opened my eyes to the world around us. It has taught me to “see” and has provided the means to express what I’ve seen and felt. I want to produce images that create an emotional response in others. I hope that you like my photos; I’m okay with it if you dislike them; I just hope I never bore you. I creatively edit my images to convey to the viewer the spirit of what I saw and felt about the scene rather than trying to document the scene journalistically.

I haven’t knowingly developed a “style” and don’t like to concentrate on any one subject area. I love many areas of photography including: landscapes, architecture, old buildings, street photography, churches and cemeteries. I do tend to favor black and white as I find it more expressive but certainly not to the exclusion of color photography. Simply put, I want to explore and “see” something new.

Please do NOT post banner comments or banner awards or "awards" of any kind. I appreciate the thought but would prefer to do without the clutter.

An excellent portfolio - I like your take on architecture using longer focal length lenses to isolate detail. Great captions when you do write them.
