From August 2006 until my retirement in April 2021, I was the Rare Book Librarian in the Lillian Goldman Law Library, Yale Law School. In Fall 2013, I dedicated this Flickr account to work on an exhibition, "Law's Picture Books: The Yale Law Library Collection," which I co-curated with Mark S Weiner. The exhibition was on view September 13 - November 18, 2017, at the Grolier Club in New York City. The accompanying exhibition catalogue won the 2018 Joseph L. Andrews Award from the American Association of Law Libraries as the year's outstanding contribution to legal bibliography. All of the images in this site are from books in the Lillian Goldman Law Library's Rare Book Collection. The image descriptions include citation to the source.
