I am 72, female, married for 52years to a retired Math prof. Have 4 children, 6 grandchildren, 3 cats.

Education: B.A. Philosophy ; Englist Lit. at U. of Toronto, Canada; M.A. in Soc. of Lit. at Essex, England; Ph.D. course work and exams at McGill in Sociology of Science ; Knowledge, Soc. of Deviance, Social Psychology; thesis dropout.

Hobbies: gardening; reading history; researching and writing life histories of ancestors.

Also: I read detective fiction; play the violin ( just an amateur) , attend concerts; and, of course, I like to take photographs.
