I've always enjoyed taking photos, but I've never really seen myself as someone artistic.

Sometimes, though, I get lucky and capture a really nice moment, especially when the subject is something or someone I really, really like.

When my daughter was born, I bought a Nikon D5000 to capture her every growing moment. Inspired by her, I now am intent on learning as much as I can about photography.

Having said that, I don't think my photos will ever be as artistic as the others here at Flickr. Nonetheless, I would hope that in time most of the photos that I will share here will be the beauty of things around me as I see them. And, if ever someone else would even get just a glimmer of understanding of what I saw, then I would be very much happy already.
