I got in to photography properly in September 2008. Before that I'd been a regular snapshot taker and never considered getting in to it fully.

My first decent camera was a Panasonic TZ5 which was early Christmas present from my parents. Soon after that I found the Strobist website and the outlay of funds hasn't stopped since that moment. 5 months later (Jan 2009) I got my first DSLR which was a Nikon D70. That was followed by various light modifiers, lights, books and many other "necessary" things.

The camera I'm using now is a D90 which was an amazing surprise gift from my parents for Christmas.

At this point I'm not sure where I'd like to take my photography but sometimes I need to remind myself that I'm doing this for fun and anything that results from it is an added bonus.
