When I was small I loved mustard sandwiches. Here’s an image for you that I recall happening. It’s one of those memories of your childhood that you think about when you’re older that remind you that you were a kid once. I was 6 or so, it was Summer... I lived on a deadend street that I knew well...I was dressed in my usual Summer uniform of yellow polyester shorts and no shirt...standing in the middle of the road in front of my house feeling the roughness of the hot pebbly road under my bare feet. In one hand is a brand new Mustard sandwich and the other hand is shading my eyes from the Mississippi sun. I can recall thinking to myself something like “...boy, this is a great day!”. That’s a special image for me from my youth. I hope to capture some more memories like this with my photography. Thanks for letting me share my memories with you.
