Photography has long been a hobby of mine.

I started with a Sony Cybershot DSC-80. I carried the little point-and-shoot with me for over six years, until it fell out of my checked baggage on a flight to North Carolina, tragically vanishing forever. I then purchased a Sony NEX-5R, learning to shoot in manual mode. I later upgraded to a Sony a6500, and I carry an a6000 as a secondary camera. I also have a Fujifilm FinePix XP130 for underwater photography.

My photography hobby meshes well with my other favorite pastime - travel. Landscapes are my favorite photography subject, but I dabble in other areas as well. I hold a commercial pilot's license and always carried my camera with me when I was flying. Many of my early photographs showcase the world from 10,000 feet. I also enjoy visiting, and photographing, show caves.
