Since getting the bird lens, my photostream has gravitated toward shorebirds - despite the fact that i earlier wrote: "I see myself getting more into HDR, twilight photos with balance of artificial to natural light, a little bit of strobist, & probably some light trail type of stuff."

I've turned into a little bit of a technical shooter, taking HDRs, star trails, light trails, panoramics, & no doubt i'll be getting into time lapse before too long.

In the early '70s i did 35mm B&W photography, rolling film & printing in my parents (pretty good) darkroom. I sort of fell out of photography, but in 2004 got back into. I had a Canon MiniDV videocam, followed by my first digicam, a Canon G6 from CraigsList. The videocam was supposed to be for windsurfing & skiing. Fast forward to 2015-2018 & i've gotten more into timelaspse and the occasional video. Youtube: "MurrayH77 Videos" - there's a mish-mash of videos there, including a couple about ski tuning.

Since originally joining Flickr, i've gotten a Canon XSi, 7D, a bird lens, and more recently upgrading to 7dii & a full frame Canon camera.
