I've been taking photos now for about 5 years and am totally hooked. I bought a DSLR before traveling around the world and have never looked back. Lately I have joined a photography society and it's been great for my photography as I print a lot more now and learn lots from the other members.

I do not take offence when people say they don't like a photo of mine. It doesn't matter, most of the time I am just trying things out just to see. Like every photographer I get a great kick when people like my stuff.

I think photographers have been pushing the boundaries of technology since the very first camera to achieve the perfect shot. With that in mind I embrace photoshop 100% and will do whatever to create the photo I want. That said, photography is about light and without good light photoshop is useless IMO.
