Mulletar. Get yours at flagrantdisregard.com/flickr.

I'm Bryce, and I'm 17 years old as of June, 2007.

The beginning of my love for photography really got started when my mom purchased our first semi-good camera, a little point-and-shoot Kodak Easyshare. My older brother Garrett* and I would use it to take pictures and videos of our friends when we hung out and that was about it. In 2004 though, I went to Europe with my mom and I pretty much flipped out taking pictures. I shot over 1500/2000 photos during my travels through London, Rome, and Dublin in about a month.

I really really started getting into photography when I got my first good camera. The Easyshare camera I used to use was decrepit and exploited the use of rubber bands and tape to stay functional, so I slowly convinced my mom to purchase a Nikon D50 DSLR outfit. Since I got my mits on the D50, I've taken over 3,300 pictures. Some good, some not, but I've enjoyed it thoroughly and I hope you also get some enjoyment from the photos I've uploaded to Flickr.

My equipment as it stands right now:

Nikon D50 dSLR camera

Nikkor AF-S DX 55-200mm Telephoto Lens

Nikkor AF-S DX 18-55mm Lens

*Hey oh! Shameless plug time! Garrett has a Flickr and has some pretty leet ninja pictar skillz. He takes pictures with his Fiance's point-and-shoot and my Nikon D50, so head on over to the following link and take a gander.

Mulletar, as most folks on here will know him, aka Bryce, is a decent photographer. From his European and New York trips particularly, his photographs are quite exceptional. But even back in Ohio, where he takes residence, he has taken some excellent photographs. He is more of an amateur right now than he my be some day, and certainly not the most professional person at it of anyone I could imagine. But he enjoys it and puts his camera to a lot of use, experimenting with various focus adjustments and zoom adjustments, as well as angles and timings. Sometimes, I should say, it is all about your timing, and not about anything much else when you try and get a good photograph. And Bryce's timing is good, though I know he misses opportunities to take photographs now and then, sometimes of things which might have made quite striking subjects for him. But even so, he also takes time to capture photographs of creatures and plants, as well as pieces of architecture and bits of Creation which are not counted as architecture, except when you are talking about the kind of architecture that God fashions and maintains. When it comes to these things, as well as some photographs of people in social interactions as well, I find his work to be quite cool, personally. I don't know if I consider the photographs he put on here to be his best ones, but they are quite good and I can't wait to see what he does with photography, his Nikon D50, and Flickr in the future!
