Hello. My name is MIKI Yoshihito and I am Japanese.

Like many Japanese people, I am not good at English.

(However, I can understand simple English.)

I live in the Far East Asian country of Japan.

Japan is organized into long, narrow islands stretching from east to west, north to south.

I live in Sapporo, Hokkaido, which is located in the northern part of Japan.

The climate of Sapporo is cool in summer and very cold in winter.

Sapporo has abundant snow in winter, so much so that the city hosted the Winter Olympics in 1972.

Before the pandemic began, Sapporo City was visited by many people from all over the world for sightseeing.

Chinese, Taiwanese, Koreans, and other Asian countries as well as Americans and Europeans have come to visit.

And I want more tourists to come to Sapporo. Like before the pandemic.

I hope that my photographs will help more people discover the charms of Japan.

The Japanese politics has been stagnant for 70 years.

The Japanese economy has been stagnant for 30 years.

However, public safety is generally stable in Japan.

When you visit Japan, you probably will not be in danger in Japan.

Japan is one of the most developed countries in decline, yet most Japanese citizens enjoy a stable life.

This is because most Japanese citizens are satisfied with their current lifestyle.

Japan is the birthplace of Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, and Pentax.

Japan is the birthplace of Nintendo and SEGA.

Japan is the birthplace of Lexus, Nissan, and Subaru.

If you identify with the products of these brands, I believe it is one of the reasons for you to visit Japan.

I believe that the greatest advantage of the digital world is that it can be replicated indefinitely.

And I believe that even if it is something trivial, it can still have an impact on someone.

(Even if it is a technically inferior photograph....)
