I'm new at photography and I'd like to improve. I've never had any art or photography classes, so tips and suggestions are welcome. Right now I'm using a point-and-shoot that allows some manual control, but I also have access to an SLR for when I'm ready to move up. I've mostly been photographing animals and doing minor edits on PSE, but at some point I'd like to try other subjects and more creative editing.
