Photography has long been a passion of mine as I began shooting landscapes just out of high school in the Summer of 1980 with a Canon AE-1. It wasn't until 2005, however, that I became serious about my hobby when I ran out and purchased my first Nikon DSLR. Since that time I have become rather manic about shooting whenever I get the chance. In addition to my responsibilities as a choral music profesor at Mt. San Antonio College, I'm a single dad with three wonderful kids and a golden retriever, so my time to shoot is somewhat limited. After losing my wife to cancer in 2007, photography has become an incredible outlet for me and I am now out honing my craft whenever I get the chance.
