I purchased my first SLR camera in 1991 during my adventure days living in the Seattle, Washington. I was shooting film until I finally went digital in 2009, with my first being a DSLR camera. I've been using the Pentax brand ever since my first SLR camera.

I like to photograph a large variety of subjects including various macro (dragonflies, butterflies, and other insects); railroad; herps; and many more subjects to a lesser degree. I would get bored very fast if I just stuck to a few subjects to photograph.

My number one hobby has always been the insulator hobby for most of my life. I've been a serious glass insulator collector for nearly 58 years, so I like to post photos of my collection and also photograph them in the wild. With the last pin-type glass insulator produced in 1978, the glass insulators won't be around forever in the near future.

Thanks very much for viewing and commenting on my photos.
